This section describes the operating environment of Office File Creator.
Salesforce Platform
Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic are supported.
Experience Cloud is not supported in Ver. 2 or later.
Salesforce Editions
Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, Force.com, Developer, Performance, and Essentials are supported. For other editions, please install and check the operation.
Browsers
Browsers supported by Salesforce are supported. However, mobile devices including tablets are not supported.
Supported Browsers and Devices for Lightning Experience
Salesforce Mobile
Office File Creator is not available on mobile devices, including tablets. It may be possible to output files or save files to Salesforce on mobile, but it is not guaranteed that it will work.
External connections
- The application completes the file generation process only within Salesforce and has no connections to external servers outside of Salesforce.
- The application does not use any third-party products that contain external connections.
- The application does not store files on servers outside of Salesforce.
- The application does not send emails outside of Salesforce, including when errors occur.
Security
The application has passed Salesforce's security review.
